It has been made out of an old house, where more than a hundred years ago, the climbers Whimper and Carrel planned the first ascent of Cervino and one can see important relics from the time.
The Hotel, place for lovers's trekkers, is located nearly the trail n° 14/15 in Alta Via n° 3 which is the connection from Cervinia to Zermatt across the Theodulo's Pass and from Cervinia to Champolus across the Cime Bianche's Pass (see on the Map)
