The hotel was created from an ancient house where, more than a hundred years ago, climbers Whimper and Carrel designed the first ascent of the Matterhorn and you can see relics of the time. The hotel, a destination for passionate trekkers, is located near the path 14/15 of the Alta Via n ° 3 which connects Cervinia to Zermatt through the Colle del Theodulo and connects Champoluc through the Colle delle Cime Bianche.
The Hotel is situated in a panoramic position with a view of Cervino ( Matterhorn ) and over the Grand Murailles, in the most peaceful area of Breuil, immersed in the green pasture in summer and in the skiable white in winter.
